Title: DVD burning
Post by: greenking on February 10, 2004, 20:34: I'm trying to back up some DVD's but although they are ripped and nero says the burning is sucessful there is nothing on the disc :(
Cammy may have hit the nail on the head as my DVD re writer burns at 8x but no discs are about yet that seems to burn at these speeds :-\

Can anyone tell me how to get nero or my drive to burn at lesser speeds :)

Or if this isnt the problem point me in the right direction :P

Post by: Simon on February 10, 2004, 20:43: You should be able to adjust the write speed in this screen (see below), GK, if that's the problem. The only other thing I can think of is that the source disc is copy protected. :-\

The disc source is definately decrypted to my HD

Post by: Simon on February 11, 2004, 07:48: Yes, that's Nero 6. I have to say, I've not actually used Nero for DVDs. Obviously, there is alternative software available for burning DVDs, but we're a bit limited as to what can be discussed here. :-\

Once i got nero to burn at 2.4x everything went fine :)
