Neat little utility which sits in your system tray and tells you what's happening outside in your locality.

Oi!! What are you doing using Internet Explorer??!! >:( >:( ;)

Clive thats brilliant ;D Does it tell you that its going to snow this week end ;)
-
:aarrgh: Big Brother is watching! ;D I must set it up to default to Mozilla as I know it makes sense. ;D
-
I've clicked more checkboxes now so that to gives me additional information and I think it updates once a minute. 41F here now. ;D
-
Wouldn't it be easier to just look out of the window Clive ;D ;D
-
Cant you just send Gladys, your favourite sheep, out for a few minutes and feel at her fleece when she comes back in ?
That way you would find out if its wet or dry and if theres snow on it youd know that it was snowing ;D ;D ;D
-
Wouldn't it be easier to just look out of the window Clive ;D ;D

So is this worth ditching "Weather pulse" for, that you got us to install a few weeks ago then Clive ::)
-
Didn't you realise, Clive gets a commission off all these weather programs! (https://www.pc-pals.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.apax34.dsl.pipex.com%2Fsmileys%2Fheehee1.gif&hash=4cedfc4d873e04d55bdbc11d35d26a65d327e957) ;D ;D
-
Oh I didn't see that one, the weather pulse, is this better?
I like that you can change the area quite quickly. :D

I think that WeatherPulse and Weather Watcher are fairly similar Michelle. I like them both! ;D

Its going to Snow on Monday ;D
-
Told you it would snow on Monday ;D
-
Weather watcher says.......
Monday: Sunshine along with some passing clouds. High 6°C (43°F). Winds N at 10 to 20 mph.
No mention of snow
:o
And didn't you say it was gonna snow this weekend?
;D
-
My Weather Watcher says:
Monday: A mix of clouds and sun in the morning followed by cloudy skies during the afternoon. High 6°C. Winds N at 10 to 20 mph.
Monday Night: Mostly cloudy skies. Cold. Low -2°C. Winds NNW at 5 to 10 mph.
Of course, if we get blizzards, we can blame Clive for his dodgy software! ;D ;D

Its going to Snow on Monday

I saw the weather forcast last night and it showed a tiny part of the country ........... The edge of Norfolk getting snow, and us in the south had lovely sunshine, which is true, but its cold brrrr.
-
So far this program has been spookily accurate! It said we would have snow today and we DID! Blizzard conditions even! OK, so it only lasted for 5 minutes, but nevertheless it happened.
-
I've just looked in several of the forum boards for this thread, so I could get the link to download the program. Wouldn't it be better in the Software Suggestions board? :)
-
No Problem, Dave! :D
-
Thanks, Simon.
It's good, isn't it? I would recommend it to anyone with a 56K dial-up connection, as you do not have to sit and wait while a 500+ KB graphics-heavy web page loads before you can see the weather forecast. It happens instantly.
Great little program. :)
-
I dont want to be a Party Pooper, and spoil everyones excitement, but these Weather Programmes have a habit of installing Adware or Spyeware. Has anyone checked for this? Before i install I will await a report from someone who has the prog.
:P :P
-
Spyware free Delgado. ;D
-
Confirmed. ;)
-
Ok Guys- Will have a go!

Hi, Delgado.
If you are concerned about spyware (and who isn't?) you might want to look at Spyware Blaster. As I posted in another thread earlier today, since I installed it some months ago, neither AdAware or Spybot have picked up anything.

What :sadgit:'s when the best activity you have is watching the weather. ;D ;D ;D ;D.
Simon and Dave, if you want to meet a partner, stop looking at the weather and get out there and do something about it. ;)
-
Too bloody cold, Lona! ;) :P ;D ;D
-
Its ok Lona, Simon is working at it.. he has everything in hand ;D
-
Too much information Hook! ;D
-
Simon and Dave, if you want to meet a partner
Not for me thanks. I'll do my own ironing.
;D ;D ;D ;D

We had a gorgeous day here today. Not a cloud in the sky, and quite warm and sunny. (https://www.pc-pals.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Femoticons4u.informationalot.com%2Fcool%2F1245.gif&hash=608945661a9519fb45d413b3b004e304cd4cbbbd) Doesn't look like it's going to last though. :(
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy skies with a few showers later in the day. High 8°C. Winds S at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 30%.
Wednesday Night: Cloudy with occasional light rain. Low 7°C. Winds SSW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 90%.
Thursday: Light rain likely. Highs near 10°C and lows near 3°C.
Friday: Chance of showers. Highs near 10°C and lows near 3°C.
