My neice send me copies of family pictures in an email. The problem is she did not enclose them as a file and must have copied and pasted them directly onto the email. My problem is when I try to copy and paste only the picture I can't. It will only copy the complete email and I tried saving as an jpg file but when I try to open the file it can't be read. Some of the pictures are in the centre of the email and I can't move them on a word doc. Anyone got an answer? ???

Have you got PaintShop Pro Lona? as you can cut out the pics and save them using that program

Not wishing to teach granny to suck eggs, but have you actually tried tracking the outline across the top of the picture with your mouse, Lona? You should be able to separate the pic from the text without too much trouble. Otherwise, perhaps copy the whole thing into something like Paint Shop Pro (or even just Paint), and try to separate it.
I'll have another think and come back to you after tea. :)

Lona does it show uo as anything when you right click on an individual picture? ie do you get a box with properties at the bottom?
That should tell you what they are sent as.
If there isnt anything personal in it or if you can delete the text, feel free to send it to me and I will see if I can extract them for you :-*

I've tried everything I can think of Sandra but it won't let me just copy and paste the picture.
I will send you a copy of the email right away. :)

Ok Lona its on its way back to you ;)
I just right clicked and it let me save it,maybe Incredimail allows it whereas OE wont ???

Did you right click on the image and choose "save picture as"? then Save it to your local drive someplace. Then import it into any image program or such that you prefer. I like Photoshop 6 (Dont like 7 too much) and for printing images I would recommend ACDsee.

Thanks all for your help. Didn't think of simply right clicking on picture and saving it as jpg. Sometimes its the obvious we overlook. :-[

That's so right! Occam's Razor (http://skepdic.com/occam.html) is a handy tool ;) ;D
