Title: HP Scanjet 3400c

Tonight went to scan some paper work on the above and it wouldn't liven up by pressing the scan button. Looked in Control panel and Scanners and Cameras and nothing there.
So put the HP disk in and put the drivers back on, but why would they just disappear for no reason  ???

I take it all is well after you put the drivers back on?


'Fraid I don't know why they disappeared... did you do a Windows update recently??

Its possible that could have knocked them out, but unlikely...

yes everything went fine , no updates of late and yes it is strange  ???
