I was feeling very pleased with myself recently after managing to get my old AMD 450 K6 to accept a 40 gig drive and thinking it would do me for another year or two  ;D ;D ;D

The crazy thing about my system is the Case and Power supply were the most expensive items. But you really cant skimp on a good case and PS whne overclocking. Currently having a problem upgrading to RedHat 8.0 right now. It wont detect my CDROM or HDs.. I think it could be due to my raid controller. I am going to try later today when I am back from work. Probably a simple problem that I am just overlooking.

I am very surpised to see that we all have IBM hard drives. After the horrid problems with the 60GXP I am shocked that other people would be willing to try the new IBM line (120GXP) but its good to know at the same time.

Well, I didn't know there'd been problems with previous models, and I've never had any trouble with mine, so I would happily recommend the 120GXP.

I opted for the Maxtor ATA133 line due to being a little faster, second choice was the IBM as they are very fast too.

I'm toying with Serial ATA for the next one tho
