Title: ATI vs NVIDIA - PLEASE HELP!!!

Hi, getting a new laptop, which card should i go for, is there any real diffrence?

ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 PRO Module with 128MB DDR  

OR

NVIDIA FX go5600 Module with 128MB DDR

well it is totaly up to you personally i prefere nvidia but i use radeon nowadays  ::) but its really about what you prefere  ;)

I have always used nVidia in my own PCs, and in most of the one's I have built, purely because I'm familiar with them.  That said, I did install an ATI Radeon in one machine, and it still suffers from slightly ghosted text, but whether it's the card or something else, I haven't managed to find out.

If you want raw speed for gaming, I think the ATI has the edge ;)
