your floppy drive is identified incorrectly in system
setup . run system setup to change configuration , press
<f1> to continue or <CTRL+ALT+ESC> to enter system setup
now, i'm reletivily new to pc's so im not quite sure whats the matter , however i did previously take off the case and took the floppy drive out but didn't disconnect anything , no cables or anything ??
i know jonah has already given me somthging to try out , but i just wondered if you lot have had any problems of the same kind or if you could help me
thanks , much appriciated !! ;)

You should be able to enter the BIOS screen by hitting F1 on startup and assign the floppy drive correctly.
That way the computer will identify it and all will be well. :D

Its possible that you disturbed the end of the cable that connects to the modo without realising it so it may be an idea to open the case and check that all the connectors are pushed fully home :)
