Title: NTL usb modem
Post by: Dominic on April 19, 2004, 11:01
Just a general enquiry, if anyone with ntl cable could reply. Since i had problems with my internet lately i noticed that the USB light (led) on my modem is constantly flickering, well i asked a few people i know and they said that theiers aint like it, but some also said that thiers flickers too. So what i wanna ask is the light meant to flicker? does that show bad connectivity? or is it meant to be constant.

Thnx in advance.

I don't use mine any more, but when i did it did flicker yes, it just means that there is a signal gonig from the ntl box to your computer. When it stays on constant it means its sending a lot of info, when it flickers just means its sending short bursts of information you will prob find that when you are not using the internet but have your pc on.
