Looks like my DvD Rom is on the way out folkz.. :( using it last night and it was making some funny noises and skipping a lot?
Went into event viewer and it said I had some bad blocks??
Anyway to cut a short story long, where is the cheapest place to get an DvD Rom from in your previous experiences

Dabs, CCL, Ebuyer, Watford, take your pick. You can get a Pioneer (http://www.dabs.com/uk/channels/components/cdanddvdreaderswriters/dvdwriters/productView.htm?quicklinx=30QL) from Dabs for less than £80 delivered, or a Lite On (http://www.dabs.com/uk/channels/components/cdanddvdreaderswriters/dvdwriters/productView.htm?quicklinx=33DP) for about a fiver less. Both 8x.

Depends on if you want a DVD-ROM or a DVD Writer.
I always find SVP to be very good.

8 speed write NEC-2500 is £60
16 speed Liteon reader is £23
Liteon combined CD Writer+DVD Reader is £40
Excellent service and pretty good prices. Worth signing up to their buyers club as they occasionally offer 99p shipping weekends (last weekend was the latest).

Thanks for the reply's Lads, I have an account with SVP and as I already have a DvD Burner looks like SVP will be getting an order soon for a DvD Rom.
