Title: Broadband and Macs
Post by: Clive on January 06, 2003, 18:07
I know that whenever the word Mac is mentioned that everyone goes a whiter shade of pale, but a friend of my wife wishes to switch to broadband on her Mac.  She's contacted BTOpenworld and Tiscali and both have told her that she will need to buy a modem which is not part of the usual broadband package.  Adept got my wife's Mac laptop working on broadband but that already had "airport" wireless installed.  The Mac in question does not have this facility. Can anyone clarify the situation?

Macs, ptuey, don't you know this is PC forum Clive ;)

Seriously though, have a look at Demon Internet (http://www.demon..net) Clive.

They specifically support Mac (and are recommended by Apple, I believe). They may be able to help you.
