i set my home page in internet explorer propities but everytime i click on the explorer icon about:blank page apears with two popups telling me how to stop spam can someone help me.thank you ???

Hi reboot121 and  :welcome:

First things first make sure you have all the critical windows updates and install and run  Ad-aware (http://www.lavasoft.de/) (best to check you have Ad-aware updated then run it offline)...

Also can you check what it says in "Tools/Internet options/general/homepage address and let us know..

Hopefully a real techie will be along shortly and can expand on this  :thumb:

Hi Reboot and  :welcome:

Your problem is almost certainly caused by spyware.  To cure it, download Ad-Aware and get the latest updates from its website.  After you run it and deleted all the nasties, you should be back to normal with any luck.  If not, please come back to us.
