Title: Photoshop 7 problem

hi all...
for the last week i have been mastering ps.7. and its all been working fine...UNTIL NOW...i want to go into 'quick mask mode' and 'mask' sum stuff with the paint brush. normally it draws in a red color when you are masking but at the mo it jus wont... it is allowing me to do it but the paint brush isnt drawing or masking!?!?!??! DOES THT MAKE SENCE?!

Sorry, Jon, I can't help ya there... but maybe you can help me on another photoshop quesation:

When I add text (say IMPACT font), and zoom in its looks nasty. When I print (normal) it looks nasty... all pixelated. Any ideas?
