First: Yes, just go to Tools > Accounts, click New, and put in your details.  If you put a Hotmail address in, it will come up as a Hotmail HTTP account at the next part of the set up.  Not sure if it will work with AOL though.  :-\

Second: Unfortunately, what you are asking amounts to pirating a version of Windows, and we can't discuss that here.  Sorry.   :)

I don't think you can just transfer an operating system from one machine to another.  You would need an installation disc and a product key (licence).  If you have the CD, there may be places on the Internet where you could obtain a product key.  That's all we can really say.   ;) :-X

If your PC died, and you had to get a new one, then you could technically use the same Windows product and key, because it wont be being used on the other PC ;)

The same applies to MOST programs, but Windows especially: you MUST install from the CD, it cannot be cloned.

Other programs MUST be installed to work properly, and not just copied across (this applies to at least 80% of programs). The install will not only put the files/folders in the directories, but also add many lines to the Windows Registry (database) and may have to interact with hardware.... INSTALLS ARE IMPORTANT!
