Title: Driver IRQL less or not equal (usbport.sys and usbehci.sys)
Post by: BMF on June 20, 2004, 23:34
I keep getting an error message, I think its referred to as Blue Screen of Death, well this error happens very frequently, usually when I'm playing championship manager or diablo 2, the error appears and says something like "irql driver not equal or less, with files usbport.sys and usbehci.sys then loads of different numbers after that.

My specs are:

1800 mhz amd athlon
256mb geforce fx 5600
kd7-raid motherboard
512 ram

let me know if anything else is needed.  I REALLy need help, so any suggestions are more than welcome.

Hi BMF and welcome to pc-pals,

Not being a techie myself, I have to tell honestly that it's my first time I hear about this problem. In fact, I don't know more than you in this matter.

But, till someone of the techies shows, you might find it useful to get some suggestions from this link which I found by browsing the internet:

http://www.experts-exchange.com/Operating_Systems/Q_20784166.html

Of course, it would be better to get the solution from our techies here, but they are all sleeping now.    ;)

So, if you are in a hurry, get some clues there, if not, hope someone here will be able to help.   :)

OH !!!!   SORRY !!   I just noticed that someone else has a similar problem which was posted in this section some hours ago. you can get there and get the suggestions:

Good luck...
