hi all ;)
i was doin a windows update and iv come a cropper!
its installing some update for my soundcard and its come up with "the file 'wdmaud.drv' on the Windows XP Professional CD-ROM is required"
but i cant find it on the cd so wtf shud i do?!?!?! ?

It's contained in a compressed form in one of the CAB files (Driver.cab I think).
One way to get it is to manually extract all the files from the CAB using the "expand" command
i.e. expand cab file name -fwdmaud.drv Destination
You will need to put the fully qualified name for the CAB location e.g. c:\windows\i386\driver.cab
