Title: Broadband useage

A report brought to our attention by Clive (thanks Clive, informative as ever),states that now more people have broadband they spend an average of 16 per week on the net. Let's see if wee fall into that timespan. I think not. If you know how many hrs a week you spend on net include that below.

Oops! This poll also applies to cable users but 56k dial uppers can add their pennyworth as well if they wish :)

I myself only logoff because PC goeas on a go slow and I need to reboot >:( :(, else I would have to have mouse removed surgicallly from my fingers :D

Technically speaking I don't log off but in practice my ISP automatically logs me off after 2 hours of inactivity.  I understand that this event might have actually occured two or three times during the past year.   ;D  ;D  ;D

One pc is left on 24/7 as its used as a server.
This pc tends to be swiched on when I get up around the crack of noon and usually stays on until I go to bed between 3am and 4am, unless I am going out for the evening, although I am not always using it unless Serenity is pestering me about something  ::)

I usually only log off when I leave the PC, apart from occasions when a reboot is required, then I usually log back on again straight away.  It depends if I'm working, or not, but I'm usually online for about 4-5 hours a day when working, and an average of between 6 and 8 hours if I am home.  I have, however, been known to not leave my PC for 13 hours!!   :o

I usually log off when not surfing but leave on all night if I am downloading a large file :-X.

I spend a lot of time online in the evenings and am inclined to be a night owl as I have been infected by another vampire.  ;)
