Hi Matt, have you installed and been able to run this version under 2K before ?
Which version is it as I have come across this :
Version 6.02 is needed for Windows 2000

Though I am not sure of how to solve your problem Matt, I just wanted you to know that I have had winrunner running on a Windows 2000 PC. The version was 6.02
Basically winrunner is a test tool or automation tool. It has been used to do a batch update of thousands of accounts on the system we use at work.

hi,
it's version 7.5 and a colleague has installed it fine on his PC running w2k.
it's a wierd message, never come across it before, tried the usual basic things such as copying the data onto the harddrive first but no joy.
any ideas???

Have a look at this Matt :
This issue can occur if any of the following Windows 2000 or Windows Server 2003 files is missing, damaged, or not located in the %SystemRoot%\System32 folder:
Autoexec.nt
Command.com
Config.nt
