Post by: nilsatis on August 27, 2004, 14:40
Here we go again, I have now installed SonicStage but it is saying thatdevice/media not connected, I have followed Sony's instructions to add the driver but upon opening "device manager", there is no "other devices" section, so am stuck, how do I connect?

Can you expand on what you are trying to do with Sonic Stage and does it have an option for selecting which device to input or output to ?
From what I can see it appears to be a music/video capturing/editing/converting program but I dont really know anything more about it  ???

Yes its a device for converting music onto a ATRAC CD, this used with a walkman, after installing it has not installed onto a device so cannot be used, I think its something to do with compatability, but the sony site gives some troubleshooting advice and says to open Device manager and then open other devices but that option is not there.

Have you tried the Scan for hardware changes under the Action tab at the top of device manager ?

It appears that sony products are not compatible with my pc, i would need an idiot guide to start messing about with installing drivers.
