Title: Screen Capture Image

If you don?t like to use an extra « Screen Capture program », you can use simply your keyboard for that.

You can hit the key ?Print Screen? which will capture the full screen image.

In case you like to capture just a small window of a program or image, just let that window be active by clicking once on any part of it. And press simultaneously the keys ?Alt + Print screen?.

Now, you have two possibilities to get the image:

1 ? Open the program ?Paint?, and past it there. ?Save the image as..." somewhere.

The problem here is that the image will be in ?BMP? format, which will be too high resolution.

2 ? After capturing the image, open ?Word? and past it there. Then click once on it and ?Copy? it with the right click button.

Go to the desktop and right click somewhere on it to past it. That will open a small window proposing you to have a copy for it somewhere. Say ?Yes?, and choose the location. Then it?ll ask you if you like to add this element to your active desktop. Say "No".

Now, you have the image in ?JPG? format, much less than BMP.

Nice one, Joudi.  You can also, still in Paint, simply 'Save As' a jpg.   ;)

In Paint, when you click File > Save As, you should get a box asking where you want to save the file, and a drop down menu, 'Save As Type', from which you can choose jpeg / jpg.  This might help, Joudi:-

Unfortunately, that idea didn't come to my mind.   :(  I was still half sleeping.   ;)
