Hey, just wondering if anyone has come across any software that shows your system resources. I want a little toolbar-ish program that I can "dock" to the bottom right corner of my start menu.

Not sure if ME does it but you can open Task Manager in XP and minimise it to task bar so you can just open it immediately any time you want :)

Ah, I'm running XP SP2 now ;D (got a new computer for college) and that might work. I'd really like to have a little program with a bar that...well, uh, it's hard to explain...Maybe I can make my own?
Any ideas on how to do this in VB?

In a word no :(

Doesn't XP have it's own System Resource Meter built into the operating system?
Windows 9x and ME install it in the default installation. I have never installed it, as I always do a custom installation of any operating system to minimise bloatware, but it's definitely there on the CD.

It does Dave, its part of Task Manager, it shows the total cpu usage and total memory usage at the bottom and you can go to the proccesses tab and it shows the usage of cpu amd memory for each process thats running at the time :)
