Title: Default Photo Viewer
Post by: chorleydave on November 22, 2004, 23:54
I hope I can make clear what I am asking. ???

Currently, if I takes any photos with my digital camera and save them to CD, when I double click them they open in the Opera browser, as Opera is set to handle JPEG, GIF etc files by default on my PC.

Does anyone know of a dedicated program that I can use to simply open and view digital photos, without having to open my browser?  The bundled software that came with the camera has a sort of picture viewer, but it is a bit clumsy and heavy for simply viewing photos with.

Thanks.

Use something like Paint Shop Pro Dave, associate it with your jpgs and it will open in that instead of your browser as it will have been installed later it should take over from your browser  :)
