Title: 250 mb mail storage
Post by: joudi on December 10, 2004, 05:41
Just to keep the forum a little busy with something new, here's a subject, not really very important, but we can talk about it though (if you like):

As probably, most of you have noticed that, recently, we've got 250 mb of mail storage for each account (e-mail) with "Hotmail" and "Yahoo". Ten mb of them are reserved to be used for keeping the account on (sending and receiving mails, and attached pieces or files, etc ...).

Ten mb normally must be enough to send a file of 1.80 mb as an attached file. Unfortunately, I was trying my best to send that to a friend, without success, neither through MSN nor Yahoo mail.

Did a similar thing happen to any of you?

Oh yes!!  A few weeks ago I tried uploading a 1.62Mb file to a Yahoo account as a way of backing it up, but it was not accepted.  There must be a limit to the file size Yahoo and MSN accept.
