Hi guys,
I'm also looking for a new graphics card, looking to spend around £100, I've spotted these on offer on dabs.com -

so basically i need to know which is best, I'm guessing the most expensive one, pci or agp, does it make a difference? and if i got an agp, how would i install it??
I also need to know which, if any are compatible with my motherboard http://www.e4allinc.info/dir1/motherboards/socketa/msi6777.htm (http://www.e4allinc.info/dir1/motherboards/socketa/msi6777.htm)
Thanks alot guys,

Forget PCI as you have an AGP slot which is a faster bus than the PCI bus.
I would suggest you have a look at something like this :

Its an 8x AGP card with 256mb DDR and I think it should be better than the ones that you were looking at and cheaper too :)

I would also recommend the one Sandra linked to, as I have just fitted a 128Mb version of the same in a friends PC, and he's well happy with it, so the 256Mb would be even better.

Ah thanks very much guys, but this is definately compatible with my motherboard etc yeah? and also how do you fit agp devices??

AGP cards just shove in the slot the same as PCI cards do, sometimes the later mobos have a small clip that fits into a slot on the card to make it more secure as, due to the AGP slot being set back from the PCI slots, the cards tend to be longer and can have a tendency to work loose when just secured at the back of the case.
The ones that I and Simon suggested should be fine although you do sometimes get some mobo/card combinations that dont like each other for some reason, even though the specifications are correct :)
