iv recently bought two cold cathode strips for my pc...they hav all gone in fine...
however there is a switch to switch them on and off..the switch hangs out of my side window and i was jus bout to switch them on and the metal bit on the switch came into contact with my case and ther was a spark and the b*****d turned off....
and now it wont start up...
i cant afford to replace everything?? wat cud hav happened????????

When you say it wont start up do you mean its totally dead, no lights and no fan etc ???
If so then hopefully you may have just blown the fuse in the mains lead or in the PSU itself.

right...fookin psu's gone :o
well tht sucks..oh well the psu im using is crap and old so ill buy a new one off ebuyer later..and recommandendation?

Just make sure that the switch doesnt short out again Jon or youll blow the spare one :)
It may just be the fuse inside the PSU thats blown so rather than bin it, pull the cover off and see if you can replace it :)
