Hiya
Just wondering if it;s okay to install one copy of windows XP on more than one pc? it probably isnt is it :S?
Thanks

By doing so, you will incur the wrath of Misrocoft - who will send people round to your house to tie your shoelaces together. You have been warned. 8)

I believe that you can after 6 months as its reasonable to have upgraded your pc in that time, but dont blame me if what I have heard is incorrect on this one :)

So if i do decide to install it, it would probably be best to invest in velcro shoes? :)
thanks for the help guys

Knowing how Micro$haft can so easily snoop into your doings, even if you did install XP on another machine (and I believe Sandra is correct in the 6 months thing, as I did it on my own), I wouldn't put it past them to be able to see that two machines are running on the same licence. :naughty: ;)

Even if Microshaft can, in theory, tell if you are running the same licence on more than one machine, with their track record it probably doesn't work properly, so I wouldn't worry about it.

It works as long as you dont put it on all machines at the same time.
and you cant report any errors or they can trace it back
