last night i went to the bios screen to try and "beef" up my cpu, i had an option for "high performance" defaults, i selected that and went to reboot, however, it would not reboot, all i get is a black screen. what can i do? :?:

Can you get back into BIOS? If so, reset it to fail safe defaults and hopefully that should solve things.

If you cant get it to go into the bios again, like Simon suggested, then switch the pc off and open the case up. Find the clear CMOS jumper and set it in the clear position for a few seconds then put it back to the normal setting.
This should reset the bios to the normal or failsafe defaults :)
