Post by: Tony on March 30, 2005, 14:38
Right I burnt some security programs to CD.....visited a relation....popped the CD in his PC....but alas I could not see the programs on the CD.......is it a permission's thing ?....I could'nt be a*rsed to mess about at the time.

Could it be that the CD wasn't finalised and/or made accessible to other users.

Sometimes when I burn CD's and leave them 'open' (not finalised) when I use them on friends CD drives (normal ones not CDRW), they can see the files.

Just a Thought!

It could also happen if the other pc wasnt on XP or if the cd drive is an old one  :(

Some drives can read unfinalised discs, and some can't - so I would also agree with that theory.   :)
