Title: Wireless usb optical mouse question

G'day all, I've just got one of the above (battery powered) and notice that when the pc is shut down the sensor light in the mouse stays on....is this normal.  i'm guessing it eventually goes into a standby state until it detects movement but i'd welcome confirmation of this.  Ta   :)

Dave..mine goes off after about 30 seconds of Inactivity.
