Title: ClipArt Problems
Post by: PhilTheFish on April 22, 2005, 20:45
Hi all,

I've got Office 2003 installed and have been making some posters with my young daughter. When I first installed office, if I asked to insert Clipart it gave me the option to search on the net and returned thumbnails of the clipart in the search box. I tried yesterday and the searches worked, but instead of thumbnails in the boxes I just got the Windows Media logo in each box. The clipart was there, but the only way I could see it was to insert into the document and see if it was any good! Anyone know of a reason why this might be happening? I've reinstalled Office, but still no joy.

Phil

It may be the popup stopper which SP2 kindly provides.

Hmm... I can't get mine to do that, Phil!     Have you selected All Media File Types from the third drop down menu?

Yes, selected all media types. But no joy!! I'm not sure whether it's just clipart direct from the net that doesn't thumbnail. I'll download some from the Microsoft site to my PC and see how they preview.
