Hi All,
I have a load of small VHS cassettes from an old camcorder that I would like to transfer to DVD. I already have the adaptor to make the cassettes normal VHS size. I would like to edit them as a lot of footage is mixed over one or two cassettes.
What I need to know is what hardware do I need?
I know I need a DVD writer - (any recommendations on a budget DVD writer welcome!), and some sort of capture card - but not sure where to start.
Also what type of software is needed - don't really want to spend too much as I doubt I'll be using it again after transferring all the old footage.
Thanks
DJ

You will need a video capture device such as Dazzle. I would recommend looking at a copy of this week's "Computer Active" which contains a four page article (including lots of lovely pretty pictures) showing how to do it. It will be worth the £1.35 (unless of course you can borrow or steal a copy!)

Ooooh, just off to buy a copy now. Can't wait to see the pretty pictures.
:thanks: Clive
