Title: WORLD WIND
Post by: joudi on June 05, 2005, 13:54
Here's the new and last version of this interesting software.

It enables you to see some details of any place on earth, (your area, village, ...) from satellite.

It's coming directly from NASA site, and it's free:    :)

Enjoy !!!

Isn't it the sites offering illegal (copyrighted) material they are trying to shut down, rather than the actual networks and software?

umm i guess it is really. i have heard calls for the software makers to be stopped from developing certain features though - especially the ones that can help hide your identity. also if the software didnt exist then their big headache would go away.

Has anyone used MUTE yet ?
Theres supposed to be an addon that lets you use it with Bit Torrents and keeps your IP anonymous for most purposes ?

nope. sounds interesting though. i never really use torrents and what with all the stuff happening at the moments i would avoid them but ways of blocking your ip sound interesting.

Have you used it Sandra?  I thought I might download it and have a look.  Only trouble is, if it's going through proxy servers, won't that slow the speeds down?
