Title: system halted

hi all
long time no speak
i have a xp 2600 system running windows me (kids computer)
after about 3 mins i get the BSOD system halted
error 06 0028:0000c945
             0028:cu23f58b in vxd vmm (oc) + 0000058b

any ideas as there if nothng listed for this error in the microsoft knowledge base (no surprise there then)

VXD errors are usually hardware/driver isssues.
Does it run ok in Safe Mode ?

Have a look at this page and see if anything on it helps.
Unfortunately if it wont run for more than a few minutes in normal windows it doesnt give you long to update any drivers that may be needed  :(
