Title: DVDRW problems
Post by: Reno on September 16, 2005, 02:24
Well i broke down and bought one a couple of weeks ago. Ive yet to make a successful burn with it though. Does it have to be on a 80pin ultra ide cable? One didn't come with it in the box. I get an error That says logical unit communication crc error (ultra-dma/32) (040803) when i do a nero cddvd speed test. Im at my wits end. This is really ticking me off.

Hi Bob, I have had all sorts of strange things happening with dvd writers on 40 wire cables.
Use an 80 wire one and have it set as master and that should sort it out  :)
