If my web search returns 100,000,000 pages for example ,how do I view page 90,000,000 as the maximum in preferences is 100 at a time.
Just curious?

With lots of clicking!  :grin:  My suggestion would be to try narrowing down the search, to get less, but more accurate results.  I'm not sure if there is actually an answer to your question.  :dunno:

Thanks for your reply Sam. Yes I mean google and i think most of the others return a huge number of pages.Just seems odd not to be able to access them easily/quickly if only out of curiosity. :?:

first thing you need to know:

secondly to get to another result, i.e. entry 90 you type:

http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=fun&hl=en&hs=phT&lr=&safe=off&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&start=90&sa=N

or somehting like that. In this case it is my browser specific, relating to my google bar. The things you need to notice are: q=fun - my search was for fun and the second and important thing is that &start=90 - this means start the page on the 90 entry from the search, so in theory if you typed in 900 or any number that would start a page (goes up in tens by default) you will get that result at the top.
