Title: How do I find size of RAM on my PC?
Post by: PhilTheFish on October 05, 2005, 11:16
Hi all,

Quick query for you....I have a P4 2.8 which came with 512MB RAM. I have kindly been given another 'stick' of memory (512) by a colleague who no longer needs it. I installed it last night and just turned the PC on to check it was still working (I didn't have much spare time last night). How do I check the size of RAM installed (i.e. 1G rather than 512MB)??

Thanks in advance
Phil

Hiya Phil

Goto start/all programs/accessories/system tools/system information and the "total physical memory" is listed there.

That's on xp anyway  :thumb:
