Is Microsoft suddenly feeling generous, or are they just trying to further improve market share? (It's the latter).

msn...well done!!

you are right though....umm larger share!! less angry developers switching to linux or newbies just going to linux.

I had a version of this which I obtained before but to have free software that is legal will be good. It will mean that I can do some work on my laptop when I am running windows without having to arse around with quincy...which I hate - also will help me remember how to do stuff in windows since I have to use c++ in windows for my teaching of 2nd year undergrad projects.
