Title: Mediafour Xplay 2 Software

Is it possible to use this software without having an ipod connected?  It seems strange that you can't sort, add or delete files unless you have an ipod attached.  When an ipod is attached you get an option to auto update, if you aren't able to use the software prior to connecting an ipod what's the use of this function?

Interesting point. Why have an autoupdate if the software only offers updates on the fly. Isnt Xplay 2 a transfer applicaion for Mac formated iPods to PCs?
