I have tried many times to do this, Jim.  There are LOADS of programs available, if you were to search Google for something like "convert wma to midi", but I have yet to come across any which are truly free, or do the job to any degree of satisfaction.  My advice would be to either find the track you want to convert, already in midi format (Google, again), or get yourself a phone which plays MP3s or .wav files as ring tones.  :)

Well, I can't speak for Motorola, but Sony Ericsson and Nokia software will only convert an existing midi file into the correct format for the phone.  It won't convert something else into a midi first, but midi files are very widely available for free on tinternet.
