Title: Gateway 2000 L1 on black screen

Windows does not booy can only get into Bios.If I let it try to boot The Splash screen comes up then a black screen with a L1.Is that a memory cache???

Do you get any beeps ?

Can you hear the fans running ?

Does it just stay at the blank screen even if you leave it for a few minutes ?

Have you got onboard graphics or is it a seperate card ?

Are any lights on or flashing on your tower ?
