and when I go into Internet Options, Programs, there is nothing lised under Email - it has a drop box, but no way to type anything into it. Help?!

It's probably just a matter of setting your default e-mail client. If you tell us which one you use (Outlook, Outlook Express, Incredimail, etc), we'll be able to tell you how to set it as default from within the program options.

OK, in Outlook Express, go to Tools > Options and on the General tab (which is the first one that opens), you'll see at the bottom, two buttons, one to make OE the default mail handler. Click the button, and that should do the trick. The other button is to make it the default news handler, which you don't need to worry about, unless you access newsgroups.
