Title: New Work PC

Hoorah, they finally got me a new one after 5 years.  XP Pro on a LAN.

Trouble is 24 hours later i've lost most of the options in control panel. yesterday i had 34 today only 7 namely Accessibility, display, keyboard, mouse, power options, region & language, sounds & audio.  Also in the display option  the tabs options have reduced from 5 to 3, themes and screensavers appear to have gone south  :? .  Tried other peoples PC's and they're still ok.  Everything else seems to be working normally  :?

Now our IT boys are on the case but i'm not holding my breath.  Anyone have a clue what might have happened, so i can get one up on our beloved IT department.   :D

Ah well they managed to sort it for once  :D

EDIT  forgot to mention that it was an intentional problem created by them (so they say).  :roll:

They really are professional IT guys!  :grin:
