Title: Bcc in mailing lists
Post by: Clive on May 10, 2006, 19:28
I send out mailing lists using Outlook Express by creating a group and inserting the names of the recipients.  I've received a complaint from someone that all the e-mail addresses are visible and that this could be a security issue.  He has asked me to send them all out Bcc in future but I can't see how to do that with groups.

When you create a Group, it should appear in your Adderss Book, Clive.  To send BCC to a Group, just click the To button, then, when the Select Recipients screen pops up, select the Group name, and click the BCC arrow.  Simple as that!

Oh thanks for that Simon.  I've just sent out a test to see if it works and I am very confident.  :D
