Is it possible to save Macromedia Flash broadcasts off the internet?

Is this (http://www.download.com/Flash-Capture/3000-6676_4-10131001.html) the sort of thing you're looking for, Gill?  Unfortunately, all the ones I have found only work with IE, and are also all shareware, but if you just want something for one job, a trial version might do the trick.

That's just the job, Simon - thanks :) .  Let's hope the 'nag' screen isn't too obtrusive.

Having just installed the software, my firewall's asking me if I want to allow it to access the following website:

I think I'll uninstall it quickly and run anti-malware checks in the morning.

That's very surprising, Gill.  Usually the stuff from Download.com is very safe.  There are, of course, other softwares available which do the same thing.  Take your pick from here (http://www.download.com/3120-20_4-0.html?tg=dl-20&qt=save%20flash&tag=srch).  :)
