Title: PC Speakers
Post by: Lona on September 17, 2006, 17:17
My logitech speakers which are under a year old have suddenly started hissing and crackling.

I tried them in another pc and got the same reaction even in a different wall socket.

Can I assume they are broken.?

I have had a pair of Creative speakers for about 4 years now, and they've never given me any trouble.  They sound great too, but you need a sub-woofer to get any bass.  The ones I have are not available any more, but I would certainly recommend them as a brand.

Good news.................

Even although I bought these speakers from Ebuyer, I phoned Logitech and they have sent me a new pair. Better ones than previous ones.

Five Stars to Logitech.  Their customer service was excellent.  :D  :D  :D
