Title: what pc should i get??please help??

hello....

can anyboby help me, i am in desperate need to find a computer or laptop asap, the onlly prob is i have no idea what type i should be getting!! I am a student studying textiles design, and for part of my course i need a good computer/laptop that is good for art and design purposes. I really wanted a laptop so i can take it around with me, but a friend told me they dont tend to have very much memory??

I would really really appriciate it if someone has any advice....
