Title: Web cam not working

Hi
Think this problem should be posted under software?
I have a webcam that will not work with Yahoo messenger. It locks the pc up when it tries to open. The webcam works fine in other(non messeger) applications.

Have you checked out the Yahoo messenger troubleshooter JK?  Here is the bit about webcams.

I followed your link and ended using regedit to fix the problem.
