Following on from the post about My Chemical Romance.... New Found Glory's new album might appeal to people who like the my chemical romance album. New Found Glory are an American pop punk/melodic hardcore band but are definetly more melodic in their latest album. It has a slight emo twist to it, but most american bands at the moment seem to. A combination of interesting guitar work, vocals and some damn good guitar work keeps you interested the whole way through. The title track "Coming Home" is one of my favourites and it alone is worth a listen but I think my favourite would have to be "Oxygen".. but that could just be me being sentimental with my girlfriend, the lyrics include:
Don't leave, don't leave me here
I can't breathe without you
Don't leave, don't leave me here
I don't want to be without you
I don't want to live without you
I don't want to breathe without you (You're my oxygen)
anyway I'd really recommend this to anyone who wants something rocky with a melodic feel...
oh and I get to see them live on Dec 3rd here in Brum.. yay! :-)

Thanks for that Sam, I'll check them out. Another similar band is The Used, and their latest album is pretty good too.
