Or not. It failed on mine, producing a ton of errors. Files could not be copied files could not be deleted etc etc. Anyway, IE7 is not compatible with my computer. Tough huh? ;D

But how much damage has it done, and crap has it left behind? :crazy:

Probably all my antivirus software just doing its job! ;D To be fair, it fully restores your computer to what it was before it became infected.

I've just downloaded and installed it onto Mrs Clive's computer which is identical to mine. No problems at all! :dunno:

obviously you haven't got that antispyware to the appropriate level on hers to stop microsoft re-infecting it!

The message on mine says:
CAUSE
? Something has caused the computer not to trust the Internet Explorer 7 installation package.

I installed it and used it a few times, but not anymore.
When I was researching memory for Michaels computer I had about 6 tabs open with various sites that had taken me all afternoon to find and up pops a message stating that something had gone wrong with IE7 and it had to close. This happened twice, so no more, it's had it's second chance.
But I do like WMP 11.
