Title: Adobe Reader 8 upgrade.
Post by: mistybear on January 03, 2007, 07:24
I downloaded Adobe Reader 8 and when I tried to install it, it kept coming up with that it was being used and could I close anything that was using it and try again. I did all that and still it keeps coming up with the same thing. I even restarted the computer and tried again.:dunno:
The only thing that I can think of is that I clicked on the to replace the existing files when I was installing it(I suppose that means 6 & 7 that I had).
I don't know what to do now, has it (8) replaced some of the existing 7, or can I still retrieve it.
I suppose I should have installed 8 separately? :dunno:

Yep, that did the trick.

Now that I've mastered that I feel so much more confident in installing Michael's new Graphics Card when it arrives in the next 2 days. ;D :o
