Title: Is it possible to copy Passwords from Firefox or...

Will I have to write them all on paper then copy the sheet in to Word & then save it to a Flash Drive?   the reason I ask is I am changing the Motherboard & Processor !......Jim

Yes Jim, it's quite easy.  Go to C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\[randomcharacters].default.  Open the folder, and you should find either 'signons.txt', or a file something like 14125252.s.  These are where your passwords are stored, so copy either (or both) of them, and you can restore your passwords when you reinstall Firefox, by overwriting the newly created files with your backups.  You can also save your Bookmarks in this way, and if you want to restore all the settings and extensions, just save all the items and overwrite them in the new profile folder, which will be created when you reinstall FF.
